Summit® 24" Black Slide In Induction Range

Model TEM665CW brings precise and efficient cooking to smaller kitchen spaces with a 24" footprint. The cooking surface features four induction zones, while the large electric oven offers nearly 3 cu.ft. of cooking space for baking and broiling. This unit comes in a jet black finish and no rear backguard for a slide-in look. It has a recessed oven door and is conveniently sized at just 24" deep for a better fit in galley in L-shaped kitchens, where every inch counts. A towel bar handle in brushed stainless steel provides an added touch of style to the oven door. This range requires professional installation with a standard 40 amp 3 or 4-prong cord.

Unlike radiant heating, induction technology utilizes magnetized energy that starts inside the cookware, meaning the temperature of the actual cooktop surface does not get nearly as hot as traditional gas or electric elements. Most of the heat is retained inside your cookware, making induction technology the most efficient heating method for your kitchen.

The surface is constructed from smooth EuroKera black glass to create a modern, easy-to-clean surface. The front left and rear right elements are sized at 8 1/4", ideal for boiling large pots of water or cooking with woks and other large cookware. They can function at a maximum of 3000W for up to 5 minutes when using the "booster" setting, or 2000W during regular operation. The 6 1/4" rear left and front right elements reach 2000W at the booster setting, or 1500W in normal operation.

The smart burner layout helps provide plenty of room so that larger cooking vessels are spaced apart, making it easier to use all four elements without cookware colliding. Touch controls allow intuitive operation. The digital display shows which elements are in use and their power setting. Audible beeps sound when the touch controls are activated.

This model's oven includes an interior light and window to keep your cooking in view. Two adjustable racks make it easy to accommodate a variety of sizes. The waist-high broiler is located inside the oven, allowing you to switch functions without moving contents to a separate compartment on the floor. Under the oven is a lower drop-down compartment ideal for storing cookware complete with an attractive stainless steel towel bar handle.

Summit's American-made induction ranges are ADA compliant, with the cooktop controls located upfront and the oven knob centered on the front manifold for easy and accessible use. Additional choices are available in stainless steel (TEM665BW) and white (WEM665W), as well as traditional coil and radiant stoves in this size.

Broiler is located inside the oven, eliminating the need to transfer contents to a separate compartment towards the floor

Oven and storage compartment include an easy-grab towel bar handle in brushed stainless steel

Smart design limits the depth and protects adjacent cabinets

Two wire racks with safety brakes included, with several glide positions to accommodate a variety of sizes

Oven knob and cooktop controls are located upfront, ensuring you won't have to reach over a hot surface to make heating adjustments

Control panel includes an 'on' light for the oven and burners for added safety when using the range

Indicator shows when the surface is still hot to touch

If a cooking zone is in use for over two hours with no changes to the control setting, the burner will automatically turn off to prevent unsupervised heating

If the cooktop on/off switch is touched but no power level is selected within one minute, the cooktop automatically turns off

All cooking zones include a "boost" function that lets them operate at a higher setting for up to 5 minutes, ideal for reducing cook time when boiling water

Power will automatically shut off if boiling liquid or a wet cloth touches the control panel

Allows you to program either burner to heat at a specified level for up to 99 minutes and either turn off when finished or display a countdown with an audible alert when the time is up
